Minor

Minor Inspection Visit (Once Per Year)

• Check battery condition
• Inspect electronic connections
• Check operation of battery charging equipment
• Inspect exhaust system
• Check flex connections and mounting points
• Inspect and adjust fan belts
• Check coolant level
• Repair minor leaks (loose fittings only)
• Check operation of fans, pumps, and louvers
• Operate generator and verify voltage/frequency
• Verify automatic start/stop operation
• Check safety shutdowns
• Load test generator & inspect transfer switch (with permission)
• Check operation of block heater or carburetor heater (if equipped)
• Inspect day tank and pump control (if equipped)
• Clean debris in and around unit
• Clean exterior of generator enclosure
• Review system operation with customer

Major

Major Annual Service Visit (Once Per Year)

Includes all Minor Inspection items, plus:

• Replace air filter
• Change engine oil
• Replace oil filter
• Replace spark plugs (per required hours/manufacturer specs)
