Annual Inspection & Service Coverage

Minor Inspection Visit (Once Per Year)

  • Check coolant level (add if applicable)
  • Repair minor leaks (loose fittings only)
  • Inspect and adjust fan belts (if applicable)
  • Check flex connections and mountings
  • Check operation of block water heater or carburetor heater
  • Check battery condition
  • Check operation of battery charging equipment
  • Inspect electronic connections
  • Inspect day tank and pump control (if applicable)
  • Check operation of fans, pumps, and louvers
  • Inspect exhaust system
  • Operate generator and verify voltage/frequency
  • Verify auto start/stop mode
  • Simulate safety shutdowns (when applicable)
  • Load test generator & inspect transfer switch (with permission)
  • Clean debris in and around unit
  • Clean exterior of generator enclosure
  • Review system operation with customer

Major Annual Service Visit

Includes all Minor Inspection items, plus:

  • Replace air filter
  • Change engine oil
  • Replace oil filter
  • Replace spark plugs (per required hours/manufacturer specs)
